New t8/5 cooling time formula relating to welding quality

Abstract

An overview of theoretical and practical results will be given here through papers from renowned magazines in the field of welding steel tubes. Two research groups are distinguished, one based on the application of welding modeling simulation packages. The second group belongs to this paper, which, in addition to theoretical and exact calculations, deals with extensive experimental studies that have the character of optimization of welding parameters. All the exhibited works will be evaluated through the evaluation of the quantitative and qualitative results of the final pipe and the complete design process.
