Articles and Metadata Management
Between 2014 and 2024, all articles of the Welding and Welded Structures (WWS) journal, along with their metadata, were fully managed, indexed, and hosted by CEON (Center for Evaluation in Education and Science; DOI prefix: 10.5937).
In October 2025, the Serbian Welding Society (SWS) completed a full WWS journal title transfer in cooperation with Crossref and CEON. SWS assumed responsibility for hosting, indexing, and managing all WWS articles and metadata from the period 2014–2024. As a result, these articles will permanently retain their originally assigned DOI identifiers, since DOI numbers must never be changed once registered.
For WWS articles that still do not have DOI identifiers (those published in 2025 and later, as well as those from 2013 and earlier), SWS will retroactively assign DOI numbers using the prefix 10.65156, owned by SWS since October 2025.
