Review of the new construction products regulation

Abstract

The new Regulation on construction products 2024/3110 represents the key regulatory framework of the European Union, which defines what conditions must be met by the manufacturer in order to place the product on the market within the borders of the European Union. In relation to the current Regulation 305/2011, the new Regulation emphasizes ecological aspects, circular economy and reducing the impact of construction products on the environment, which is in line with the goals of the European Green Plan. The paper analyzes the content of the new Regulation, its implementation and transition in relation to the current Regulation.
