Welding tram-rail 54 G2 R260 for bloc for bloc Cogidur self-shielded wire: Process 114

Abstract

The welding technology of the tram rail, self-shielded with powder-filled wire of 54 G2 tram rail (W.no.1.0623 group 11.3) for a block of Cogidure (W.n.1.8715 group 3.2) with copper backs, is given. It is also given an overview of the testing of the welded joint by the methods of VT, PT, UT, macrostructure, and hardness testing. Finally, the welded sample is tested to the fracture with variable load and frequency.
